King of the Blues

Starting in about September, my boyfriend was in a National competition called King of the Blues. He made it very far in this competition, almost to the finals! It was a super exciting. We all had the opportunity to travel down to Hollywood for him to compete and it was so fun.

Here's all of us at the District Finals in San Jose which he won :)

District finals.

At the..Regional (? whatever comes before finals) finals in Hollywood

Since he didn't make it all the way, he decided to compete again this time. He had the first store preliminary competition last night and he made it again!

At the Store Preliminaries last night.

The pressure is on this time because it would be so great for him to make it as far [or farther than] as last time.
I get so nervous at these competitions, but I'm so excited to go through it again!

Park Photos.

My roommate and I were looking for things to distract us from all of the papers and things we have to do since the end of the year is coming up. So first, we went out to dinner together, then I suggested we should go to the park to go on the swings.  When we got there, there were kids taking up the swings and that was upsetting. However, it gave us a chance to take some pictures. Here's some of them:

This one was an accident. Alysha was supposed to be a part of this.

It looks like it's nighttime, but it totally was daytime.

Aww, we're just darling.

haha, this picture is strange.

This is what my face looks like when stupid boys kick the chicken-ducks. Also, look at the pretty lighting!

"Get off of my face!"

Different angles can be fun.

Alysha's a trooper. I made her stand there for literally a million hours to get this shoot.

I really like this one.

I fell down.

I really didn't want to fall down. Again.

Shoes that are missing feet.

The next few photos will look similar to this one..only not completely.

She's purdy :)

Silhouette.

Alysha looks like she's afraid of the children behind her.

Hope you enjoyed the photos! We had fun taking them :)

Also...Apples!

Look!

An Early-May Night's Reality

Tonight was a really fun night. Some of my friends and I saw A Midsummer Night's Dream at our University Amphitheater put on by our theater department. It was a solid play. It's probably one of my favorite Shakespeare plays. It's so funny. And it's always good when a cast can portray the funniness.

Anyway, we had to get to the place early so we could get some awesome seats [Which we did]. Aaand so while we waited for the show to start we had a picnic!
Here's a few pictures!

We made some chocolate chip cookies for our picnic.

So, you can't see everything..but we had bread, peanut butter, and jelly..to make peanut
butter and jelly sandwiches. Also, we made rolls from scratch, and the chocolate
chip cookies from earlier are in the red hat box. We also had some chips. Awesome.

Well, My Boyfriend Plays Guitar.

And I took two pictures of one of his guitars.

In black and white and from a high angle.

In color and from a low angle.

That's all I've got for now. Have a nice day!
